Travelling north from Scarborough on the A171 after 14 miles turn right at a sign post for Fylingthorpe and Robin Hoods Bay. Down the hill into the village of Flyingthorpe (2 miles), turning left at the village Post Office into Church Lane. Parking on your left 100 yards up this hill you will notice a row of Victorian houses 90 degrees to the road. Inglenook is the last house (first being Melrose Cottage) of this row and initial approach is by back alleyway.
